It all started when...
I started playing the accordion at the age of 4. Not only was this instrument far too large for my small frame, I got bored with the same sound coming from all of the chord buttons.
So, I switched to piano. I knew the piano wouldn't bore me, because there were so many different ways to play the piano. The options for creativity were endless!
Before long, I was teaching my younger brother how to play piano. Then, I taught a few neighbor kids.
I was on to something.
I knew my life would revolve around music. When it came time for college, I went to Miami University and graduated with both a Bachelor and Masters of Music degree (with high honors). Since then, I've been teaching piano and music theory for 30 years.
When it comes to piano, I love both performing and teaching. I love to encourage and praise every student and give them the ultimate amount of patience needed to help them be their best.
Making and playing music makes me feel totally fulfilled in the greatest sense. Knowing I'm using the gift that God gave me provides me with more satisfaction than you could possibly know.
I truly look forward to working with you, either by playing at your event or by teaching you how to play piano. Thank you for visiting my website, and I can't wait to connect with you.
